The Green Party of Canada is calling on the federal government to explain why it appears to have abandoned its Paris Climate Agreement commitment to limit global average temperature increase to no more than 1.5 degrees C.
Green Party interim Leader Amita Kuttner, MP Elizabeth May, MP Mike Morrice, Green Party President Lorraine Rekmans, and Shadow Cabinet climate experts Dr. Imre Szeman, Dr. Farrukh Chishtie, Dr. Devyani Singh made a submission to the to the government’s brief online public consultation on the Canadian Net Zero Accountability Act.
