This week marks the first anniversary for several MPs elected in the last federal election campaign, including Green Leader Elizabeth May.
After three tries, Ms. May was successful in becoming a Member of Parliament last May when she defeated Conservative Cabinet minister Gary Lunn in Saanich-Gulf Islands, B.C.
“It’s fantastic. It’s been a great year. It’s flown by, and I look forward to many anniversaries,” Ms. May told HOH last week.
