“Canada is and has always been a cultural mosaic. Today we recognise the richness of our multicultural heritage and how multiculturalism is one of Canada’s greatest qualities and assets. For members of diaspora communities from all over the world, the preservation and upliftment of culture is core to survival. I value the cultural contributions that so many groups have made to our collective identity. Happy Multiculturalism Day!”
