“Aujourd’hui, nous célébrons la diversité de la Francophonie! Le Canada est fièrement bilingue et nous devons faire davantage pour élever et autonomiser les francophones d’un océan à l’autre. Le thème de cette année est « Je m’éduque, donc j’agis ». Ce thème souligne l’importance d’un accès équitable à l’éducation et le rôle crucial qu’elle joue dans la promotion du développement durable et de la paix dans le monde. Today we celebrate the diversity of La Francophonie! Canada is proudly bilingual and we must do more to uplift and empower French speakers from coast to coast to coast. This year’s theme is “I educate myself, therefore I act” (“Je m’éduque, donc j’agis”). This highlights the importance of equitable access to education and the crucial role of promoting sustainable development and peace around the world. Happy International Francophonie Day!”
