“As we mark the start of the sacred month of Ramadan, it is not lost on me that Muslims across Canada are grappling with the devastation faced by Palestinians in Gaza. This month is a time for compassion, gratitude and kindness – values that have been tested particularly over the past year. Those honouring Ramadan must be always able to do so in peace. Ramadan Mubarak!”
