“British Columbia is considered high risk for earthquakes and tsunamis compared to the rest of Canada. This Tsunami Preparedness Week, I am so grateful for the BC Earthquake Alliance’s work to educate the public about earthquake and tsunami preparedness and safety. Whether it’s practicing the “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” drill or putting together an emergency kit in your home, we must all be proactive to protect ourselves and our coastal communities.”
