”Happy World Rivers Day! Rivers are providers of life, linking ecosystems across Canada. We must be vigilant in defending rivers and give rivers legal status as “persons.” Quebec’s Magpie River has been granted legal personhood with the right to maintain biodiversity and protect itself. Let’s bring rights to nature to Canadian ecosystems from coast to coast to coast!”
