The Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly ‘Green Breakfast’ on Monday and Green Party of Canada leader Elizabeth May was guest-speaker.
“I love meeting people with people in this kind of setting where everybody can put forward their views and it’s a conversation not a lecture,” May tells the Tofino-Ucluelet Westerly News.
Discussions over coffee as well as wine and cheese functions are her preferred venues to connect with people in communities, she says.
