On Wednesday November 20, 2024, Elizabeth May, MP for Saanich–Gulf Islands and Leader of the Green Party of Canada, and Mike Morrice, MP for Kitchener Centre, held a press conference on Parliament Hill to speak about the Commissioner for Environment and Sustainable Development’s report on emissions reduction, highlighting the government’s ongoing failure to meet emissions reduction targets.
The Green MPs were joined by Bloc Québécois MP Monique Pauzé, NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice, and Environment Defence’s Oil and Gas Program Manager, Mr. Aly Hyder Ali.
