”This National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, I want to draw attention to the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline. The hotline is a 24/7 victim-centered service that connects people with emergency, transition and long-term supports. If you suspect someone is at risk of trafficking, it is always better to report than to stay silent. By increasing awareness of the signs of trafficking and reducing stigma around seeking help, lives can be saved.”
