“This National Volunteer Week, I want to shine a spotlight on the tireless volunteers involved in this election. Whether you are volunteering for a Green candidate or any other party, your work is invaluable. There are many reports of harassment and violence against volunteers. This is unacceptable. I want to thank everyone who volunteers and steps up to engage neighbours in our democracy!”
