“British Columbians understand the distinct risks that tsunamis pose to our coastal communities. Investing in emergency preparedness is becoming even more important as Canadians grapple with all types of natural disasters. We need to ensure people are informed about how to quickly evacuate and get to high ground. Practicing the steps explained below is crucial. Public education about the risks of tsunamis and earthquakes can and will save lives.
